Selmer Solheim And Associates

Architect

Selmer A. Solheim was a 1935 graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Architecture. Solheim worked for Meginnis & Schaumberg as a draftsman during the early years of his career. Eventually he began his own architectural practice, Selmer A. Solheim and Associates. In addition to designing the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education for the University, he also designed the controversial Nebraska Governor’s Mansion, the Brownbilt neighborhood in central Lincoln, and Skypark Manor, a mid-century high rise residential building near the State Capitol.
