Elvin Frolik (1910-1999) received a Bachelors degree in 1930 and a Masters degree in 1932 from the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture, and earned a PhD from the University of Minnesota. He returned to teach at Nebraska in 1936 and remained for nearly 40 years, serving as a faculty member and in extension, as department chairman in Agronomy from 1952-1957, and as associate director of the Agricultural Experiment Station. In 1960 he assumed the position of Dean of Agriculture, which he held until 1973. He retired in 1975. Source Information:
