Henry K. Holsman and William H. Brainerd formed an architectural partnership in the 1890's located in Chicago. Both were graduates of Grinnell College in Grinnell Iowa. Brainerd & Holsman designed two buildings in the 1890's at Grinnell, probably establishing their relationship with Willard Kimball through this connection. Kimball hired them to design the Conservatory of Music in Lincoln in 1894. Source Information:
